Whose Laugh Is Most Obnoxious?
Just this past week, Little Tommy of Star 100.7 suggested a poll to Jagger and Kristi's Big Drive-You-Home Show this pondering question: "Who has the most obnoxious laugh: Chachi or Bess?"
Chachi was thinking of Conan O'Brien's "If They Mated" segment and asked if he and Bess got married [and mated], what would their kid sound like?
The listeners called in as well as logging into their website histar.com and voted for which of the two has the most obnoxious laugh.
Chachi was confused as he was wondering it is good to have an obnoxious laugh or a negative.
Kristi likes Bess's laugh because it makes her want to laugh. Jagger likes both laughs because they're not run of the mill, and when you hear the laugh, you know who it is, and it makes you want to smile.
Nighttime deejay Jen says they're equally absurd.
Jen asks Chachi if he lives with a weird laugh like that, does he know it? Jagger asks Chachi what was the first time that he realized that something was weird in the way he laughs. He says probably in fifth grade (he didn't get beat up again), in a classroom and his friend Ken told him a joke and
Chachi laughed and people started laughing AT Chachi because of his laugh, they weren't laughing at Ken's joke. Chachi thinks their parents have normal laughs, but he doesn't associate his laugh with other people's laughs as being weird.
Chachi's laughs can be loud at times when you hear him laughing in the background as he produces the Jagger and Kristy show every afternoon. The deejays are in a sound-proof studio and they can hear him laugh through the door.
Chachi says the only time he got sad about it is when his boss called him up to his office and asks Chachi that when they say something really funny, just step all the way to the end of the room as far away as he possibly can, and Jagger adds "go all the way to Channel 8".
Chachiism: "You know it's really pathetic when we're talking about Chachi."
Kristi suggested a celebrity having the most obnoxious laugh of all time: Fran Drescher of The
Nanny. She does laugh like a sheep.
Some thoughts about Bess's laugh:
· She laughs like Woody Woodpecker. An engineer doctored up her laugh to sound like it to illustrate what her laugh sounded like in an overexaggerated sense.
· Bess is one super terrific gal
Some thoughts about Chachi's laugh:
· He's got that hearty laugh like a cool laugh.
· Chachi's laugh is kinda cute.
· Kristi was defending Chachi's laugh at last Sunday's Charger game on the field.
· It's not a bad thing, it's just okay to have an obnoxious laugh.
· It's passionate, it's real, and her girlfriend gets turned on by his laugh.
· It's just absurd. It's just the way he says the word "pizza" (piza)
· Chachi's is kind of like the Seinfeld episode where he was going out with the girl with that kind of laugh, and it drove him crazy.
Nobody can keep up with the poll because it changes all the time, so think it over the weekend whose laugh is more obnoxious: Chachi's or Bess's?
The poll continues through Monday, Nov 29. Go to the http://www.histar.com website, select "On the Air", select "Jagger and Kristi", and see the vote tally so far.
By the way: the following Monday, Chachi was the winner of the Most Obnoxious Laugh poll with a score of 55% to 45% or something like it.
